Epic Mickey 2 : The Power of Two

Hello World,

Im so excited today is the first day I can actually say "hey guess what i've been working on"... and then keep my mouth shut!! Haha... but it's worth it. So Disney Interactive's - Junction Point Studio finally announced the sequel to Epic Mickey.

I can't say much at this point but I just wanted to share a little something, seeing how Nintendo Power just posted this.

Here is the cover I painted for their exclusive on our game.

Its been ages since my last post, Disney + Family + Top Secret Stuff = "no time to draw for blog". So here are some oldies but goodies, that I wish would have gone some where.. Owell....Oh and hopefully I'll post more stuff soon. Some of these I posted before....but I couldn't just post the one lonely guy.

So I didn't know this project was announced but I guess it is so I thought I would share this piece. Not my favorite and I didn't have a lot of time to glitz it up. But then again as artists are we ever satisfied with anything we do?!

Oh and I should say it's a game I did some freelance for.

YAY!

So I got exciting news today for me and my family. Which is we are heading out to Austin, Texas for my new job with Disney's - Junction Point Studios. I can't wait!!

They just released Epic Mickey and it looks like a blast to play. I have to wait for Christmas for my copy but I hear it's a tone of fun. I'll be working for them as a character concept artist which is going to be amazing!

There is so much history with Disney characters and any who knows me knows i'm a huge fan os disney! Even at this years E3 I was telling my buddy Josh it would be cool to work on this game, who knew a few months later I would be working for the studio. It's a huge blessing for me and my family so ya pretty exciting stuff!

If you haven't checked out the game do so...so I can send my kids to college some day!

Video Game Blues

So I was watching the Warren Spector's PAX key note and he mentioned something I had know idea about, I guess i've been living under a rock for the last 6 months working from home instead of in a studio. But the issue of first amendment rights concerning video games really concerns me. I may not be for ultra violent video games but when some one starts to tread on those freedoms of speech it's only a matter of time before they want more blood and not in HD 1080p pixel format. Back In Action

So I've been pretty busy over the last two weeks, my wife gave birth to our second child. It's been a roller coaster in our house just getting used the new adjustment but a blast at the same time!! So the next coming weeks will be pretty busy for me just catching up with work and all, hopefully i'll get to post some work! In the mean time here is a picture of my new daughter.
